Have questions? Here are some frequently asked questions but feel free to contact us if you have any more
What should I expect on my first visit?
The first visit is an information gathering session where we learn more about each other. It’s divided into three parts. First, we will have a conversation so that I can find out why you’re here and what you’re looking for. Then we will collect records, such as X-rays and photographs. Finally, we will be providing a thorough, comprehensive examination. This will take an hour. We will then bring you back for a subsequent visit where I will have a presentation ready for you. I will review all of my findings, paying particular attention to your concerns, and discuss options for any necessary treatments. My intention is that by the end of this presentation, you will have a thorough understanding of your oral health as well as treatment options if necessary. This will take 40 minutes.
What makes Smile City Square Dental different from other dental offices
I believe that what really separates Smile City Square Dental from other offices is understanding that our patients are human beings and so, it is critical that the delivery of our care is done in a holistic way. Our goal is to establish a lifelong partnership with our patients. This is done by fully understanding not just your needs but your wants. What I mean by that is teeth have needs, but people have wants. People have aspirations to be the best version of themselves. We will achieve this by treating the whole patient: mind, body and soul. From the initial appointment and throughout our partnership, we promote trust by focusing on our patient’s experience. All that we represent is rooted in honouring our mission: Enriching lives, one smile at a time.
Will my dental insurance plan be accepted?
If you have dental insurance, we will first collect from you the full cost of the treatment, and then submit an insurance claim on your behalf and you will be reimbursed by your plan directly. With most insurance plans, this can occur within 48 hours. There are so many different insurance plans that it’s very difficult for us to know the specifics of each. In addition, insurance companies are limiting the information they share with us. We therefore strongly recommend that you become familiar with your own plan and we will be happy to help you do so.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We do not accept walk-ins. It would be greatly appreciated if you make an appointment.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
You may cancel an appointment by giving a notice of 2 business days to avoid charges.
What are my payment options?
Credit card and debit card is the preferred method of payment.
